"Fifth Omni Cavalry Dragon, Fire Sword Doble", or Doble, is a character in the Future Card Buddyfight anime and one of the seven "Fifth Omni Cavalry Dragons" who serves Fifth Omni Dragon Lord, Tenbu.

Personality

Doble has a very aggressive and somewhat arrogant personality, and describes various things such as Meglax's composure and needing to shrink down to be annoying. He was quick to confront Drum on his worthiness in being an Omni Lord, calling him a wimp and finding him impressive in name only.

Like all the Cavalry Dragons, his loyalty to the Dragon Lord Tenbu is unrelenting, in part due to Tenbu's great power as an Omni Lord. This loyalty even went as far as morally preventing Doble and the others from attacking his reincarnation as INV Fifth Omni Dragon Lord, Crazed Tenbu. Though Okada reveals that this reluctance is actually due to making up excuses, implying that Doble and the others hold some fear of Tenbu's power. Nevertheless, Doble like all the others takes his mission as a Cavalry Dragon seriously, even more so after remembering Tenbu's words.

Anime Biography

Doble first appeared when Baku was building a new deck for Gao and discussing how each of the Cavalry Dragons had an ability meant to support Drum, materializing immediately and stating how they were only there to serve Tenbu and not babysit a newbie. This quickly sparked an argument with Drum, who he introduced himself to and told to remember his name before insulting him again. Right before he and Meglax left, he caught the scent of takoyaki and immediately began eating. Drum offered them to have takoyaki every day if they helped defeat Yamigedo, which he readily accepted.

During the fight, Meglax and Doble were able to work together to repeatedly counter Ikazuchi's "Thunder Mines". He was able to witness Gao and Drum's spirit for himself before he was defeated by Ikazuchi's Unorthodox Arts, Shoraiabare Kandachi!. After watching Tenbu give Drum and Gao a new Impact, he accepted Drum as Tenbu's succesor.
