Dear Mr SkyAzurePhoenix
I see you've seen my edits of some articles. I've seen that you've changed them and even removed some of my edits too. Am I doing the wrong thing on the wiki? I'm sorry. I didn't want to be a nuisance on the wiki, but if I've done anything wrong, I'm very sorry for it. Please let me know why you always remove some of my edits okay. Are they not wiki appropriate or even at your standards? Please let me know soon okay. I'm sorry again. Thank you.
Are you referring to the playstyle edits? Those are less wiki standard and more the common consensus among the other playstyle articles on this wiki.
It is best practice to not mention specific cards when addressing an attribute's playstyle. It allows the playstyle to remain flexible should new cards be added (unless they drastically shift the playstyle flow like with Sun Dragons or Black Dragons) while also making sure that people reading the descriptions are not swayed or tunnel-visioned to play a certain style. (If they were looking for meta-relevant descriptions, all they would need to do is ask.)
Do not worry about your edits so far. There are just some minor things that need fixing; nothing egregious. Just keep an eye out for certain "cultural" aspects and you should be fine.
Thanks for your help thus far.
(PS: If you are referring to your tips on Byakuya, "Shiroyasha Mode", a card that is face-down in soul cannot grant its abilities - it effectively has no ability. Banquet for the Unrighteous puts cards face down, so the only real usage for its soul option outside of Oni Assassins would be to help out a Soulguard card. Just make sure your tips are relevant and rule-accurate before submitting them next time.)
Can you help to add a Note Personality?
Cause eng it's not my frist language and i can't came up to how it should looks like.
Tho, i and some friend describe him like:
"Hmmm I would say he plays guitar in his band but isn’t good at playing guitar
First of all, don't spam by posting the same thing over several pages. Secondly, it will null the original d ability, and prevent it from being shared yes. So if you null Keen Ear, Jisen's ability, then all cards that gained his ability will lose the ability.
I do agree though that certain ability names need to be updated. However, these are undertakings that will most likely require admin coordination and a good number of volunteers if we are to see them successfully implemented and completed without sitewide inconsistency and/or broken code. I do not believe it is wise to undertake this in an individual effort.
In case of "Thunder Mine Template": I think we might be able to use the power of Semantic Media Wiki to draw the input data and show it on a table, and prevent vandal in the process due to the high complexity and vulnerability of the tool.
"Break even one element of code, and you will know it"
Vandals will find a way to ruin things regardless of what we do (except locking pages, which is used sparingly from what I have heard). Making a template complicated for that purpose alone will only make it harder for potential editors to make proper edits.
Look at the classic editor for this page. I mainly refer to the way BlitzerRyuusei did the Card List, though that may not be what you wanted to do exactly considering your statement on the complicated process found in the YuGiOh wiki. (The YuGiOh wiki seems very heavily interlaced in its systems. Seems like that kind of organization started from the very beginning.)
Either way, simplicity is most likely better for this card game wiki.
First of all I got a new idea for a custom mechanic and not sure how good it would be if you would look at. Also i just thought if I am going to go back making custom cards I might as well make a Buddyfight RP on this one site I know, but I've never seen a buddyfight rp before so I might have to get people from off site like her since I don't know if I can get people from the Fanon wikia to join I will teach people who to RP if nessacary and may be give gifts too because he site I would make it in has it's own currency for various features..BRB dinner. Back Hint: The first card I have is a legend world card based around a legend that hasn't been used as a card yet I checked earlier. But I will double check now as well as search for various canon card that could be used with it but other then mechanic's general effect I am not sure but it's a hero card hint.
Ah, okay. As far as I understood, you can choose a combination of items or spells as long as the total amount equals 2.
I'm guessing they used "or" instead of "and" to try and prevent people from thinking they could choose two items and two spells. The "total of two" is probably meant to be read separately from "items or spells" which would get the intended message across.
Still feels like another case of awkward English since it can still be interpreted incorrectly as you imply, but I think the current translation works as intended. I'll change it back.
