Takashi Mikado (未門 隆 Mikado Takashi) is the father of Gao Mikado, Yota Mikado, and Hanako Mikado, the husband of Suzumi Mikado and the son-in-law of Hanae Juumonji. He walks with Gao and Hanako to the train station every morning. In Episode 52: Generations Collide! Drum Breaker Dragon!, it is revealed that he knows how to Buddyfight, but is regarded to be a weaker fighter than Hanako. During his debut battle on the same episode, he fights Gao temporarily using a Dragon World deck with Drum Bunker Dragon Father as his Buddy monster. Because he does not officially have a Buddy monster, he uses an all-purpose core gadget that regular fighters without Buddy monsters use.
He is voiced by Yoshihisa Kawahara in Japanese, Byron Allen (Seasons 1 and 2) and Tenaj Williams (Season 4 onwards) in English.
